Engineering degree - Domains


Domains are all studied during the Common Core (Semester 1) and can be chosen as Majors or as Minors during Semesters 2, 3 and 4 (see definitions below). The 5 domains are:

Definitions of Major ("Majeure") and Minor ("Mineure")

  • Major (168 hours, 16 credits)
    - system design
    - acquisition of knowhow
    - further in-depth study
  • Minor (84 hours, 8 credits)
    - basic understanding of systems rather than analytical or technological aspects

Modules are on offer during both spring and autumn semesters except for the Networks (RES) minor which is available in the spring semester only (S2/S4).
